Chicagoland Store Return & Refund Policy
At Chicagoland Store, we pride ourselves on delivering premium home furnishings and high-quality eco-friendly mattresses. Due to the logistics, labor, and freight costs associated with transporting heavy home goods, we strictly enforce the following return policy to maintain our standard of quality.
1. Return Window & Eligibility
We accept return requests strictly within 14 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the exact condition you received it: brand new, strictly unused, unwashed, and in its original, unopened packaging. 2. The 25% Restocking Fee
All eligible returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your final refund amount. This fee covers the intensive labor, warehousing, and inspection required to receive and restock heavy home goods.
3. Return Shipping & Freight Costs
The customer is 100% responsible for all return shipping and freight logistics.
- You must arrange and pay for the return delivery to our Chicago facility.
- Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are strictly non-refundable.
- We highly recommend using a trackable freight or shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for items damaged or lost during the return transit.
4. Non-Returnable & Excluded Items
For strict health, hygiene, and safety regulations, the following items are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned under any circumstances once the original packaging is opened:
- Bed sheets, pillowcases, and linens
- Pillows and mattress protectors
- Any custom-ordered or modified furniture pieces
- Gift cards
5. Damages Upon Arrival
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives defective or damaged during transit from our facility, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at suburbanyp@gmail.com with clear photographic evidence of the damage and the original packaging.
6. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, contact our support team at suburbanyp@gmail.com. Do not send items back to our 3135 N Mango Ave facility without prior written authorization. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.
Refund Processing:
Once your return is received and meticulously inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund (minus the 25% restocking fee and any original shipping costs) will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
